ZENITH lepine, 20''' movement cal. 20/19-278 A. Zenith has dated this caliber as manufactured in August 1902 - March 1903. 1903 was also the year when Zenith for the first time won the famous chronometer competitions at Neuchatel Observatory. Since then over 1500 awards has been won, which is an outstanding figure compared to other manufactures.
This caliber belonged to the Zenith range of pocket watches. Later, in 1911 George Favre-Jacot's watch manufacture company also adopted the name Zenith as the company name.
